Hounsfield is a town in Jefferson County, New York. It rests on the eastern shore of Lake Ontario. Hounsfield is just west of the City of Watertown and around seventy miles north of the City of Syracuse. The town encompasses a number of hamlets and the Village of Sackets Harbor. The village abuts Lake Ontario and is the main population area of the town.
