Pierrepont is a town in St. Lawrence County, New York. It is located at the northwest foothills of Adirondack Park. Pierrepont is around fifteen miles east of the City of Ogdensburg and the Canadian border. The town size is sixty-one square miles of mostly farmland. , the town population was estimated at 2,500. Pierrepont was settled around 1806 and named after Hezekiah Pierrepont, an early landowner.

Intersecting with NYS-68 in the central hamlet of Pierrepont is CR-24. This road runs north-east and southwest across the entire town. It provides access to the southwestern hamlet, West Pierrepont. In the northeast part of town, CR-24 intersects NY-56. This happens in Willisville. NYS-56 runs north-south through the northeast corner.
