Galway is a town in Saratoga County, New York. The area is considered part of the three New York State regions. The town is around forty miles northwest of Albany and considered part of the Capital District region. It is just south of Adirondack Park and considered part of the North Country region. Galway is also around ten miles north of the Mohawk River and considered part of the Mohawk Valley region.
Within the town of Galway is a village of Galway. It is located in the center of town and only stretches half a mile wide. Most businesses and offices are located in the village.
