Traffic Tickets in Whitestown
The Whitestown Justice Court handles a large number of traffic tickets. This is mostly due to the New York State Thruway (I-90) that crosses through their jurisdiction. New York State Police patrol the interstate and often conduct traffic stops for speeding and other violations.
Traffic stops are conducted on local roads as well. The main town roads include Judd Road (NYS-840), Clark Mills Road (CR-19), Clinton Street (CR-30), Oriskany Boulevard (NYS-69), Halsey Road (CR-52), Sutliff Road (CR-90), and Airport Road (CR-79). However, the Whitesboro Town Court is only adjudicating your ticket if the location of the alleged violation occurred outside any of the villages. The villages of Oriskany, New York Mills, Whitesboro, and Yorkville all have their own justice courts.
