Whitesboro is a village in Oneida County, New York. It is part of the Central New York region. The village is in the town of Whitestown. It is the town's main population area and where both town and village offices are located. Whitesboro covers just one square mile. , its population was approximately 3,500. The village was incorporated in 1831 and named after an early settler, Hugh White.
