Pamelia (pronounced locally puh-MEAL-yuh) is a town in Jefferson County, New York. It is located just north of the small city of Watertown and approximately seventy-five miles north of Syracuse. The town is also approximately twenty-five miles east and south of the Canadian border. The area is known as the North Country region. Pamelia’s size is thirty-five square miles. Most of the town is farmland. The town encompasses part of the village of Glen Park. Some other communities in town include the hamlets of Knowlesville, Pamelia Center, and Pamelia Four Corners., the town had an estimated population of 3,200.
