Edinburg, New York
Edinburg is a large and rural town in Saratoga County, New York. , the town was home to approximately 1,300 residents spread over sixty-seven square miles. Edinburg is roughly sixty miles north of Albany and is located within the southern part of Adirondack Park. The town is considered part of the Capital District region and the North Country region. Edinburg is split in half by the Great Sacandaga Lake. The town encompasses the hamlets of Batchellerville, Clarkville, Edinburg, Tenantville, and West Day. Edinburg was established in 1801 and still has some historic structures from that era. It has one of the few covered bridges left in New York State. The town sees a lot of visitors in the summer months, partaking in the recreational activities at the Great Sacandaga Lake.
