Ballston Spa is a village in Saratoga County, New York. It is around thirty miles north of the City of Albany. The village is split between the towns of Ballston and Milton. , its population was estimated at 5,000. The village was established in 1807. Around that time, it became famous for its mineral water spring, which was used to help fight long term illnesses like tuberculosis. Ballston Spa became the most premier “spa town” in the United States and achieved great success. Beautiful homes and structures that were built then remain to this day.
