Greenwich is a town in Washington County, New York. It is located around forty miles northeast of Albany, near the Vermont state line, and sits along the eastern bank of the Hudson River. The area is considered part of the Capital District region. Greenwich is forty-four square miles of mostly farmland. Within the town is the Village of Greenwich.
