Ephratah is a rural town of Fulton County, New York. It is considered part of New York’s Mohawk Valley region and is located around 60 miles north-east of Albany. As of February of 2022, the town population was 1,859. The town covers roughly forty square miles. Ephratah was named after the biblical town in Israel. Several small communities make up the town including two hamlets known as Garoga and Scotchbush.
