Conesville, New York
Conesville is a town in Schoharie County, New York. It is a rural and quaint town nestled in the northern part of the Catskills Mountains. The town is roughly 50 miles southwest of Albany. The town population, as of February of 2022, was 780 Conesville covers approximately forty square miles. The town was settled in 1836 and was named after an early resident, Jonathan Cone. Conesville encompasses the hamlets of Manorkill and West Conesville.

New York State Route 990V enters town from the west. It passes through West Conesville and terminates shortly after. At that point the road becomes County Route 3 (Potter Mountain Road) as it continues east, passing Manorkill. County Route 3 continues until it leaves the east town line.
Breaking off CR-3 in the west part of town is County Route 18 (Bear Kill Road). CR-18 serves the northern part of town and leaves through the north town line.
The remainder of town consists of smaller local roads that lead to either CR-18 or CR-3.
