Canajoharie (pronounced CAN-uh-joe-HARRY) is a village in Montgomery County, New York. It is located approximately fifty miles northwest of Albany and approximately forty miles east of Utica. The area is known as the Mohawk Valley region. The village is within the Town of Canajoharie. It is the main population area of the town and the location of most town businesses. The town and village have separate governments and have separate justice courts.
